Book Project Management

When dealing with long-form projects, a meticulously followed plan is a must. To get from a rough manuscript to a fully realized book available on retailer sites like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart, there are over 20 moving parts in the book-publishing process that can take anywhere from 6 – 20 months to execute.

A little about myself: First and foremost, I’m a world traveler. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina before my family packed up and settled in the southern United States. As a result, my first time experiencing new culture was through an incredibly taxing immigration process. You would think this would be enough for five-year-old me to write off traveling as overrated altogether, but all it did was whet my appetite—and I haven’t stopped traveling since!  

Cultural appreciation has always been the goal, in both my travel and work. I take on a wide array of writing styles, voices, and audiences; I keep my knowledge bank updated and research topics heavily to ensure accuracy. I’m able to digest complex information and turn it around for wider audiences due to my years as a white label ghostwriter for B2B, B2C, and individuals. 

I love collaborating with clients to create art they are overjoyed with, which has largely taken the form of nonfiction books and novels. If you’re writing for a specific genre — memoir, children’s, YA, social science, religion — chances are I’ve edited something similar. This has included projects that require Spanish to English translations for English-speaking audiences.
